In celebration of The Simpsons’ milestone 600th episode, Pollen brought to life the “Planet of the Couches”, a surreal parody of Planet of the Apes realized as a fully immersive VR experience. The production received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Interactive Program. Pollen’s role included the music and interactive audio design. Pollen worked closely with The Simpsons creators and composer Alf Clausen on their first foray into immersive storytelling.
