Pollen crafted the original soundtrack, theme song, and full sound design/mix for Trash Truck, Netflix’s heartwarming animated series about a boy and his best friend—a giant, lovable trash truck. To capture the show’s wholesome charm, we combined rugged folk instrumentation (banjo, dulcimer, mandolin) to evoke small-town Americana with a sweeping orchestral palette for cinematic moments—like Trash Truck taking flight or traveling back to the age of dinosaurs. The series was created by legendary animators Glen and Max Keane, blending heartfelt storytelling with wonder.
